Dodd Fell Hill (668m) & Drumaldrace (614m)
12 mile route from Hawes heading up onto Drumaldrace, the Roman Road and Dodd Fell Hill. A wonderful high level route with far-reaching views. The Yorkshire Three Peaks were clearly visible from Dodd Fell, although the broad summit dome is an energy-sapping mass of peat hags, bogs and tussock grass.
Climbed: 24/10/18
Dodd Fell Hill: SD 841 846
OS Maps: OL2 and OL30
Weather: cold, dry, breezy and clear
Route: Hawes, Gayle, Wether Fell, Roman Road, Drumaldrace, Outershaw Side, Dodd Fell Hill, Ten End Peat Ground and Gaudy Lane.
